We’re near the end of my What to Wear series, and today, I’m talking about bridal looks. As you may know, bridal boudoir season is in full swing here at Cheeky Boudoir in Ballston Spa, NY. While my brides love to bring a variety of different outfits to their boudoir photo shoots, almost everyone brings in at least one white or off-white lingerie set for a bridal look. I love that because it serves as a reminder of the time of their life that they’re choosing to do their boudoir session!
Boudoir Wardrobe Inspiration: Bridal
If you’re a bride, you know that some of the major retailers and independent crafters have tuned into special bridal attire. From bejeweled tops and panties to white tulle ruffles, there’s no shortage of bridal looks to shop from. For a more relaxed look, I love bridal tank tops with cheeky (of course) bottoms. If you’re thinking of what to wear that’s a bit sexier, consider a white or off-white basque and nude lace stockings. Don’t care for white or off-white? Why not try something in a blue hue, like this lovely bra and paty set by Fortnight, or for curvy brides, this beautiful blue corset.
Other great things to think about for your bridal boudoir photo shoot are accessories! I absolutely LOVE it when brides bring in their wedding veil and bridal shoes to their shoot. Odds are, you’ve spent good money on these accessories, so why not be photographed in them for more than just your wedding day? Veils also make a great set of images on their own… no lingerie necessary! While you’re at it, consider bringing your wedding day jewelry, too! I’ll make sure to capture fantastic detail shots for you to love!
