You’d be surprised at the number of clients that come to me that tell me that they don’t own lingerie (aside from your basic bra and panty sets for everyday use) and have no clue what to wear for their shoot. It could be for a variety of reasons. Some women don’t want to fuss with straps and hooks. Some women feel it’s pointless because the lingerie is going to come off anyway. Then there are some women that just don’t feel comfortable in lingerie. They’re all perfectly valid reasons. When you’re starting from scratch, my first piece of advice is to choose pieces that you can feel comfortable in.
Boudoir Wardrobe Inspiration: A Cozy Cardigan & Knee-high Socks
I love this set because not only is it super-cute, but it’s something that almost anyone can feel comfortable in. If your midsection is an area of concern, a cardigan is the perfect way to hide it. Additionally, the cardigan and socks combo give your hands an opportunity to not be idle during your shoot. Buttoning and unbuttoning the sweater, shrugging the sweater off your shoulders, pulling the socks on, or pulling the socks off. It all makes for a great set of images for your boudoir album!
