If you’ve been following my work for some time or have had your own boudoir photoshoot with me, you know that I work with some fantastic hair and makeup artists in the Capital Region. Not only are they great with their skills, but they’re genuine women that are really good with helping me make my clients feel at ease before their boudoir shoots.
Even before I made the official move to New York, I booked my first two clients. My problem was that being new to the area, I didn’t know where to turn to to find a stylist that would be available for these back-to-back shoots. So, I did what any sane person would do… I posted on Criagslist for any leads on a great hair and makeup artist. In no time, I received an e-mail from a gentleman (who happens to be a local photographer) saying that his girlfriend (at the time) may be interested and to contact her. The rest, as they say, is history.
I have worked with Miss R for nearly 5 years now, and I am so thankful for her work and friendship. It’s absolutely amazing that it’s taken all of this time to FINALLY get her in front of my camera. Because it’s taken so long, I felt like we needed to do a shoot that was memorable and out of the ordinary for us. We took her boudoir shoot to one of my favorite cities… New York City!
Miss R’s NYC Boudoir Session
When going through Miss R’s images from her NYC boudoir shoot, I had the toughest time trying to pick out my favorites. She may never have done a boudoir shoot before, but she was a natural in front of the camera! After some hemming and hawing over which ones to share, I think I’ve finally narrowed it down, and I am so thankful that I get to share these with you.
Are you ready to experience your own NYC boudoir photoshoot?
