I began my journey as a boudoir photographer back in 2009, and my very first client was Miss C. At the time, I was just starting out my professional photography career and I specialized in families and Seniors. As any family photographer will tell you, it was no walk in the park. I love kids and think that they’re adorable; however, getting them to stay still or not be cranky for a photograph was just… trying.
When I had the opportunity to try something new and do a boudoir shoot with Miss C, I jumped at the chance. We booked a hotel room in downtown Portland, I brought in my studio lights, and I gave it a shot. I had so much fun with that boudoir shoot that I immediately started to plan how to phase out my family and senior photography to specialize solely on boudoir photography. One year later, that’s exactly what I did!
This past summer, on a trip back to Portland, I was able to do some photoshoots in an absolutely stunning hotel suite overlooking the city. Miss C had been wanting another boudoir shoot since it had been a long time, so we made it happen! Check out a selection of images from her boudoir photoshoot!
