First of all, I absolutely love all of my clients. I get to work with some of the most amazing women I've ever met. Women that inspire me to be the best me that I can be. That said, Miss C is a super special client because I've known her for over 22 years. She's one of my best friends, and as far as I'm concerned, she's family.
Working with New York bridal boudoir clients is so much fun for me. I can basically feel the excitement in that first e-mail. Women are always so thrilled about their upcoming nuptials, and they're so eager to tell their stories. To me, this is THE BEST. I'm a big proponent of love, so when I get to hear couples' love stories, it makes my heart absolutely melt.
You've been planning your boudoir photoshoot, you have scoured lingerie shops locally and online, and you've found the perfect pieces for your boudoir photoshoot. Now, to pull your look together, it's time to figure out what accessories to pair with your look. Whether you already have jewelry and other accessories that you'd like to use, having that extra sparkle will surely complete your look for your photo shoot in my New York boudoir studio.
We're near the end of my What to Wear series, and today, I'm talking about bridal looks. As you may know, bridal boudoir season is in full swing here at Cheeky Boudoir in Ballston Spa, NY. While my brides love to bring a variety of different outfits to their boudoir photo shoots, almost everyone brings in at least one white or off-white lingerie set for a bridal look. I love that because it serves as a reminder of the time of their life that they're choosing to do their boudoir session!
The best part of my job is meeting a great variety of women from all over the New York Capital Region in various stages of their lives. From women just gaining their independence, to women who are embarking on a shared life with their partner, to women who are finding themselves again after 50. The stories that are shared in my boudoir photography studio really build a connection between my clients and myself that help me bring out their personalities in their photographs.
There really is no one way to do bridal boudoir, nor should there be as everyone's style is unique to them. I have brides that like to go all out with white or off-white lingerie with jeweled "Bride" embellishments. I also have brides that like to keep their wardrobe fun and flirty, catered to their grooms' tastes. THEN I have brides that like to really turn up the heat with super-sexy lingerie choices. Whatever your personality, here at Cheeky Boudoir, we can create a gift for your groom that he'll never forget.
I am so so so EXCITED to share this bridal boudoir photo shoot with you today! Because I don't do a lot of advertising in the traditional sense for my Saratoga boudoir studio, word of mouth referrals are typically how my clients find me. A friend of Miss C's came in a couple years ago for her own bridal boudoir shoot, so when it came time for Miss C to tie the knot, she knew it would be the perfect gift for her groom.
When Miss K first contacted me about booking her bridal boudoir shoot, she told me she was very nervous because doing a boudoir shoot was completely out of her comfort zone (as it is for a lot of women). There is no magic button that I can press to alleviate nerves from every client; however, I do believe that when you can put your trust in your photographer, amazing things can happen!
I can't believe it. I've already received my first bridal boudoir inquiry for 2016! I feel like we just finished photographing 2015 brides here in my Ballston Spa boudoir photography studio (okay, maybe we did just finish since I had a couple December brides). It's all good though because I absolutely LOVE photographing bridal boudoir!
My boudoir studio, located in the lovely village of Ballston Spa, has been Bridal Boudoir Central this Summer. Think about it... When you've got your choice of giving your groom a finely crafted boudoir album filled with your sexy images or another boring watch? The choice is simple! The night before your wedding day, give your groom a glimpse of what he gets to look forward to the rest of his life.
