As much as I love my boudoir studio in Ballston Spa, shooting boudoir sessions in New York City gives me life. There's something about the magic of the city that breathes a sort of energy into these images, and I'm so thankful for clients that choose me to create them.
Miss M came to the studio for her boudoir shoot because she wanted to step a little bit out of her comfort zone and feel confident in her body. I am so thankful that Miss M put her trust in me to help show her how others see her. See, this is something common that a lot of women, or people in general, have. We are our own worst enemies, and we often have a skewed view of our own image.
One of the questions that I'm often asked is whether wardrobe is provided for my boudoir shoots or if my clients need to bring their own. While I do have some "just in case" items in the boudoir closet in my Saratoga boudoir studio, I do ask that clients bring their own pieces for their sessions. Not only is it for comforting to being wearing lingerie that's your own, but this is a great opportunity to show off and celebrate your own style.
"If you are considering a photo shoot, don't put it off or be afraid! It's a wonderful experience and you won't regret it. You will get in touch with your sensual side and feel so free. Pushing myself to do this photo session at 50 taught me that we woman no matter what we look like are beautiful and we should do something for ourselves that make us feel that way. This photo shoot was that for me!" - Miss T

First of all, I absolutely love all of my clients. I get to work with some of the most amazing women I've ever met. Women that inspire me to be the best me that I can be. That said, Miss C is a super special client because I've known her for over 22 years. She's one of my best friends, and as far as I'm concerned, she's family.
I've been a boudoir photographer for over 8 years now, and I will never get over how many women put their trust in me to create beautiful boudoir images for them. It is especially flattering when other boudoir photographers (or photographers in general) want to work with me in my New York boudoir studio. Such was the case with Miss N of Lilac & Fern Photography.
Something that I am very proud of is the fact that women from all over New York have chosen me as their boudoir photographer. I have clients that come in all the way from Buffalo and NYC just to shoot with me, and I am absolutely humbled and honored that they love my work so much that they're willing to make the trip.
Working with New York bridal boudoir clients is so much fun for me. I can basically feel the excitement in that first e-mail. Women are always so thrilled about their upcoming nuptials, and they're so eager to tell their stories. To me, this is THE BEST. I'm a big proponent of love, so when I get to hear couples' love stories, it makes my heart absolutely melt.
Aside from preparing yourself to get in front of my camera at my Saratoga boudoir studio, one of the most nerve wracking aspects of prepping for your boudoir shoot can be finding the perfect pieces to wear for your shoot. Not only do you have to think about the fit, but what type of pieces will photograph well. I know that when I was planning my boudoir shoot, I spent 4 months scouring online shops for the perfect outfits to wear.
