It’s April and it’s snowing outside. Not just a little snow either. We have a good 5 inches of snow in our backyard right now. So, to warm things up a bit (okay, A LOT), I’m going to finally share the images from Miss D’s boudoir shoot that was photographed here in my private Saratoga boudoir photography studio!
Sometimes, the toughest part of planning your boudoir photo shoot is trying to figure out what to wear for your shoot. Here at Cheeky, I offer session options that allow for 4-8 different wardrobe changes. This gives my clients the room for a wide variety of looks in their final images. So, to give you a bit of inspiration, over the next 5 days, I’ll be featuring a little bit of Miss D’s boudoir shoot and the different looks she chose for her session!
Boudoir Wardrobe Inspiration: Black Bra & Panty Set
For her first set, Miss D wore a lovely black longline bra and panty set by Blush Lingerie. Because of its simplicity, I wanted to create images that evoked a sense of mystery and freedom. To achieve this, I photographer her in almost a voyeuristic fashion. Throughout this set, I directed her to keep her hands and her body moving… almost pretending as if I wasn’t in the same room with a camera. Then, in my editing process, I chose to create black and white images for added depth in mood.
When you’re worried about what to wear for your shoot, just remember that sometimes, simplicity is best. This will allow for your own natural beauty to shine through your images. Your boudoir shoot should be about you, and you should choose pieces for your boudoir shoot that complement your style and personality. Still need some help deciding what looks are best for you?
