Bridal Boudoir with Miss L | Saratoga Boudoir Photography

When I got married almost 8 years ago, I wish I had thought of doing a boudoir shoot for my husband. In my opinion (and I may be biased), it's the perfect gift to give your groom on your wedding day. It's a great way to express your love to your soon-to-be-husband in a very intimate way, and a good reminder of the beautiful woman he chose to spend the rest of his life with.

Miss S’s Boudoir Valentine’s Day Gift | Saratoga Boudoir

Can't think of what to get your special someone for your next Valentine's Day gift?

We have the answer here at Cheeky Boudoir... A boudoir photo shoot, of course! This past winter, we had the busiest season yet for boudoir. Women came in from all over New York, starting in late November, to shoot for their special Valentine's Day gift for their sweethearts. I was especially excited when I saw Miss S's reservation come through because I have been DYING to photograph her since moving to New York!

Saratoga Boudoir Studio Tour

A little over 3 years ago, I embarked on a solo adventure to The City of Lights. I was in Paris for a 2-day workshop, but I was also there to do a bit of reflecting. In a couple short months, I would be graduating from college and then moving across the country to my new home in New York. It was a BIG time in my life. It was exciting AND scary all at the same time. I had some big, life-changing decisions to make.

On one of my last days in Paris, I packed a little picnic with a sandwich and treats from the boulangerie around the corner, and I spent the afternoon in front of the Eiffel Tower. With my pen and notebook in hand, I took the time to put my dreams of having my very own boudoir photography studio down in ink.

Miss L | New York Boudoir

With a military base nearby, here in Saratoga Springs, I often have clients who have husbands or boyfriends who are currently (or soon will be) deployed out of the country. Before moving to New York, my husband and I were apart for about a year and a half, so I can almost imagine how strenuous it would be to keep things spicy from such a far distance (especially with the added stress of military life). So what better way to blow him away than with a special boudoir gift?

Becoming… Miss J’s Boudoir Experience

More often than not, I recommend to women that I speak with that they do a boudoir session not for someone else but for themselves. It's empowering to be able to be a little vulnerable and let someone (ME!) bring out a side of you that you maybe don't see everyday. Yes, it can be scary, but when you walk away with a new bounce in your step and that sensation of pride & joy, you'll find that it was well worth it.

Miss R | Saratoga Boudoir Photography

When Miss R first contacted me about scheduling her photo shoot in my Saratoga boudoir studio, she wanted to create something special for her husband's Christmas gift. When describing her ideal boudoir session experience, she said: "I want it to be sexy, but not over the top. I want to look and feel beautiful, and mostly want to do something for my husband that I know he will love."

If you're like many women out there that are thinking about booking a boudoir session with me, you're probably thinking, "I'd love to do a shoot, but what am I going to do with the photos?" Over the next several weeks, I'm going to highlight some of the boudoir art products that I offer in my studio here in Ballston Spa, NY!

Miss M’s Valentine’s Day Shoot | Saratoga Boudoir

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my boudoir studio? I mean… really, really, really love my boudoir studio? Because I do! It’s welcoming, bright, and there is a lot of room to play with different creative ideas. My Saratoga boudoir studio is the perfect space to create sexy and romantic imagery that will complement any type of wardrobe that you choose to bring for your boudoir photo shoot. For Miss M’s recent boudoir photo shoot, she wore this STUNNING red bra and panty set by Stella McCartney. We finished off her look with gorgeous lace accessories from Maison Close, one of my all-time favorite lingerie designers (available to use for your shoot in the Cheeky closet!). The whole ensemble embodies mystery and romance!

Fashion Friday | Bridal Boudoir Photography

It's Fashion Friday! And today, I'm talking all about bridal boudoir photography!

It's that time of year when Summer brides are starting to prep for a one-of-a-kind wedding gift for their grooms... a boudoir shoot! The thing that I love about bridal boudoir is that it documents a really special time in your lives. A time when you're so in love and about to embark on a new chapter in your life. How great would it be, 50 years from now, when you can look back on your images and say, "Look at how SEXY I was when we got married!"
