You’ve been planning your boudoir photoshoot, you have scoured lingerie shops locally and online, and you’ve found the perfect pieces for your boudoir photoshoot. Now, to pull your look together, it’s time to figure out what accessories to pair with your look. Whether you already have jewelry and other accessories that you’d like to use, having that extra sparkle will surely complete your look for your photo shoot in my New York boudoir studio.
Completing Your Bridal Boudoir Look
This week, I’m featuring the absolutely gorgeous Miss R’s bridal boudoir shoot, so I find it only fitting that I focus on accessories for the perfect bridal boudoir session! When consulting with my bridal clients, I like to suggest that for one of their sets, they bring what they plan on wearing for the wedding night. In addition to their wedding night lingerie, I also like to suggest that they bring their bridal jewelry, shoes, and wedding veil for that extra special touch to their images.
Take Miss R’s shoot for example, the way the jewelry and veil look together help create truly breathtaking images!
JEWELRY: Need some help with finding the best bridal jewelry to pull your bridal boudoir look together (or your non-bridal boudoir shoot, for that matter)? Head on down to see our friends at Lola Accessory Boutique. There is no shortage of sparkle, and you will surely find something that both matches your personal style and your budget.
WEDDING ACCESSORIES: Most clients already have their veil, headpieces, and/or garters purchased by the time they come in for their boudoir shoots; however, if you’re still on the hunt, I highly suggest making the trip to Saratoga Springs to visit the lovely team at Lily Saratoga. Their beautiful bridal boutique has a huge selection of gorgeous veils and headpieces (like the ones shown here in Miss R’s shoot) that would complement your shoot perfectly!
SHOES: My very favorite bridal boudoir images feature clients who bring a pop of color (and sparkle, of course) in their wedding shoes. I may have let a squeal out every time a pair of these beauties have come into my studio (I’ve seen them in white, blue, green, and pink)!
